Welcome to Leroy Elementary School, a school that focuses on “Developing Lifelong Learners”.

We are a learning community of 300 kindergarten through fifth grade students and their families. Parents and teachers work together through the Leroy School Association, known as the LSA, to support and expand the education for all students.  Staff and parents are committed to providing not just educational excellence but also to caring deeply about meeting the needs of individual children in every way we can.

Our Mission at Leroy Elementary School is to provide opportunities for our students to learn to be successful, literate citizens who apply reasoning and problem-solving skills to real-life situations.

 Our building goals are:
1. To provide instruction that will result in optimum growth in the
academic achievement of very student, specifically concentrating on literacy that will lead to a greater ability to develop high-level skills in the content areas.
2. To work collaboratively with parents / guardians to assure maximum
achievement for all students through improved communications and strong
interactive relationships.
3. To provide opportunities for students to demonstrate positive
character attributes in relationships with their peers and adults.

Throughout the year parents are encouraged to volunteer to support our academic programs as well as to assist with special activities designed to include whole families.

We welcome visitors interested in experiencing the welcoming warmth of an Excellent School!
